Singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino celebrated her 13th year in the industry, yesterday, December 17. She took to Instagram to thank those who have been with her in her journey in show business.
“13 years na ko in the industry today. Ito talaga ang pangarap ko simula nung nagkaisip ako. I never thought na magiging reality ko ito. I am very grateful sa lahat ng mga nagtiwala sakin sa journey ko,” she said.
Among the people she thanked is television director Laurenti Dyogi, the creator of reality TV show Pinoy Dream Academy. The show trained its “scholars” to become multimedia performers. Yeng won in 2006.
“To Direk @dyogilaurenti kayo po ang unang nakakita ng potential sakin at pagsusulat ko ng kanta sa industry na ito. Sa minsanang pag uuusap natin you always remind me kung sino ako bilang musiko,” she wrote.
Yeng also expressed her gratitude to her father, who she said is the secret to her success.
“Thank you because from you I have learned to always be grateful dahil sabi mo nga ‘Bihira yang nakakapasok sa industriya na yan kaya pagpahalagan mo,’ Ikaw ang naging sikreto ng pag abot ko sa mga pangarap ko Papa. Salamat!”
