Iwa Moto took to social media to mourn the passing of Yzabel Ablan, the daughter of her ex-partner Mickey Ablan.
The Japanese-Filipina former actress paid tribute to Yzabel with a compilation video of their photos together which she posted on her social media pages.
Iwa referred to Yzabel as her “little butterfly” in her short caption, saying, “My little butterfly. Thank you. Still can’t find words to say other than I love you so much and I will miss you.”
“See you in my dreams my little warrior.. watch over us anak. Mommy loves you so much. ???,” she wrote.
In a separate post, Iwa uploaded another tribute video to Yzabel accompanied by a lengthy, emotional message.
“My heart is in so much pain… still can’t believe that my ate Chabelits is gone. Heaven is lucky to have such a wonderful person,” Yzabel’s stepmother began.
In the caption, Iwa clarified her relationship to Yzabel as some netizens expressed their confusion since actress Janna Dominguez is now the current partner of her father Mickey Ablan.
She pointed out that although she may not be her biological mother, she stood as her parent for a few years.
“To all the people asking[,] Yzabel is my 1st born daughter. And yes hindi ako ang biological mom nya. I was her stepmom for a couple of years. Pero [I] know in my heart na mahal na mahal ko sya kahit di ako ang nag luwal sakanya sa mundong to,” Iwa addressed the questions.
She continued, “S[i]ya ang 1st ko sa madaming bagay. Tinuruan nya akong maging mommy. Maging patient, she always tells me that to be fully happy [I] have to learn to forgive.. and she is a survivor. Sobrang daming mong pinagdaanan anak. Nalampasan mo yun. And you become the best version of yourself❤️.”
Iwa thanked Yzabel whom she regarded as someone who touched many lives, including hers.
“You have touched so many lives anak. Thank you kasi anak kahit ang tagal na nating [hindi] nakgkikita you never fail to greet me. Or just to say hi. You always have so much kwento. Mamimiss ko yun anak. Yung mag tetext ka sakin kung maganda ba ootd mo. Or mag rarant ka lang mamimiss ko yun anak,” Iwa reminisced her memories with her Yzabel.
Iwa expressed her regrets about not being able to spend more time together and apologized for her mistakes.
“I wish i could have spend more time with you. I’m sorry if I fail you anak. Sorry sa mga pagkakamali ko. [T]andaan mo anak na sobrang mahal ka ni mommy. See you in my dreams anak. ?.”
Meanwhile, Mickey’s comment was seen on Iwa’s post, thanking her and her husband Pampi Lacson for dropping by his daughter’s funeral.
Janna announced the passing of daughter Yzabel last October 7, a day after she revealed to had given birth to her fourth child, Leon.
Earlier, the Pepito Manaloto star revealed that Yzabel died due to “a sudden heart failure and lung infection”.
