An unexpected collab between two iconic comedians might be happening soon!
In a media conference of the comedy sketch show Bubble Gang last Friday, June 30, its mainstay Michael V., opened the possibility of having Vice Ganda into the show.
Michael V. was presented with a question on who he would pick to guest in the longest-running gag show.
“Si Vice Ganda,” The Kapuso comedian quickly answered, eliciting cheers from the crowd, “Vice Ganda has always been open to collaboration.”
According to Michael V., the Kapamilya comedian has already expressed his interest to be on the show in the past.
“Tsaka the last time we met, last time nagkausap kami, lagi niya sinasabi, ‘Sana makapag-guest ako sa Bubble Gang’ So, sana mabigyan ng chance,” Michael V. shared.
He also noted that he wants to have Vice Ganda and one of his most popular characters, “Mr. Assimo”, to do a skit together.
It was announced that Bubble Gang will be seeing a shift in its time slot as part of a relaunch. The late-night gag show will now air on Sundays at 6PM beginning July 9.
Cheska Fausto, EA Guzman, and Buboy Villar, who is also one of the new hosts of the revamped Eat Bulaga, will be part of the new cast.
Bubble Gang celebrated its 27th anniversary with a special show, including Michael V.’s performance on the trending song Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw last November 2022.
