The lead stars of the K-drama Uncontrollably Fond are reuniting after seven years via a fantasy rom-com series.
According to K-entertainment media outlet Soompi, production company Hwa&Dam Pictures officially announced on June 14 that the two actors will star together in the upcoming series All Your Wishes Will Come True.
The upcoming series is about an overly emotional genie trapped inside a lamp and the woman who helps him escape his prison. Kim Woo Bin will be starring “as the volatile genie, while Suzy will play Ga Young, a human who lacks emotion,” Soompi reported.
The series came from the minds of notable writer, Kim Eun Sook, known for hit dramas The Glory, Goblin, Mister Sunshine and Heirs, which also starred Kim Woo-Bin, and will have Lee Byung Hun of Extreme Job and Melo Is My Nature as its director.
All Your Wishes Will Come True will run for 12 episodes and is slated for release in 2024.
Kim Woo-Bin and Suzy previously paired together in the hit 2016 romance melodrama series Uncontrollably Fond. It tells the story of two former lovers who reunite years later as a top actor and a documentary producer.
