Iza Calzado turned sentimental as she remembered her father, Lito Calzado, who passed away 11 years ago.
The actress penned a message for her father as she shared one of the last photos they had before his battle with liver cancer.
“11.11.11, eleven years ago, I lost the first great love of my life,” she said.
On her Instagram post, Iza updated her father about her pregnancy journey and how her baby already has his best qualities.
She shared: “Went for a scan today for your grandchild and all is well. Baby is happy and healthy and moving so much.
“Mana sayo, kick ball change nang kick ball change sa belly ko. Gives me so much joy thinking about dancing with this baby, knowing your gift is being passed on to our child.”
The 40-year-old also paid tribute to her late brother Juan Carlos, who would have been 34 today.
Liza’s father was known in the industry for being a director and choreographer.
