Ogie Diaz has dismissed allegations that his talent Liza Soberano is pregnant.
The comedian-talent manager addressed the speculations during a recent episode on his Youtube channel Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.
“Maraming nagtanong sa akin niyan dahil lumabas nga, nag-viral din ito. Aaminin ko na po, na si Liza Soberano sa isyung buntis ay hindi po totoo,” he clarified.
This came after Liza shared photos of her and boyfriend Enrique Gil spending Christmas in the United States, where netizens were quick to speculate that the actress has a baby bump.
Ogie, meanwhile, made clear that it was supposedly due to Liza’s pose that made her belly appear bigger.
“Alam mo naman minsan lumiyad lang ganun yung tiyan, buntis na,” said Ogie citing another instance when actress Michelle Vito dismissed pregnancy speculations saying she was just full in that one photo at that time.
Liza, along with her brother Justin, and Enrique, flew to the U.S., in December to look after her grandmother’s health.
Ogie also reacted to claims that Liza flew abroad to hid her pregnancy.
“Hindi ba bongga ang mga Marites, di ba? ‘Yung hindi namin naiisip, naiisip nila ‘yan.
“Someday, dahil sila naman ni Enrique ay talagang mukhang hindi na mapaghihiwalay ‘yan, hindi ba? Eh darating din tayo dyan. Pero for now, it’s a no,” he added.
