In a war of bitter tweets, Filipina beauty YouTuber Michelle Dy has reacted to American beauty guru and cosmetics line owner Jeffree Star comment describing her newest makeup collection as “trash.”
The two figured in a Twitter drama after a netizen on Tuesday asked Star for an ”honest review” of Dy’s recently launched makeup collection, to which Star replied: “I don’t have time to review trash on my channel.”
Hitting back at Star, Dy on Wednesday wrote in her tweet: “Call me trash all you want, but not the products which not just I, but a lot of people worked hard for.
“If it didn’t pass your standards, I cannot do anything about that.
“But one thing is for sure, I worked hard, poured my heart and 100% into it and I am proud of it,” she added.
The Pinay vlogger’s tweet has garnered more than 12,000 likes and 1,000 retweets as of writing.
Fans of Dy also threw their support behind the influencer.
