British actress Mia Goth has filed for divorce from actor Shia LaBeouf after a decade of marriage.
The news was first reported by TMZ after acquiring court documents that cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, with the date of separation listed as July 28, 2025.
Goth is also seeking “primary legal and physical custody” of the couple’s 4-year-old daughter, Isabel, while asking the court to terminate its ability to award spousal support to either her or LaBeouf.
Mia and Shia legally married in October 2016 after being in an on-and-off relationship for several years. The couple separated around two years after their marriage before reconciling around 2020. They welcomed their first child in 2022.
The divorce filing came just a day after LaBeouf settled a lawsuit filed by his former girlfriend, singer FKA twigs, who had accused the actor of sexual, mental, and physical abuse during their relationship in 2018.
Their legal battle began in 2020, with LaBeouf denying the allegations at the time.
The “Transformers” actor has also faced legal troubles in recent months. He is currently on probation following his arrest in February after an alleged drunken brawl in New Orleans.
He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery charges in June and was sentenced to two years of probation, along with alcohol abuse rehabilitation, sensitivity training, and anger management classes.
