American pop star Ariana Grande and actor-singer Ethan Slater have reportedly ended their relationship after almost three years together.
According to several American media outlets, sources close to the former couple revealed that Grande and Slater quietly parted ways several months ago.
“It’s amicable, they gave lots of time and careful consideration and decided to go their separate ways. They are still friends and very supportive of one another. They have been quietly broken up for several months,” a source told People.
The pair first crossed paths while filming the movie adaptation of the hit Broadway musical “Wicked” in 2023, where Grande starred as Glinda and Slater portrayed Boq.
They later made their relationship public in 2024 following Grande’s separation from her then-husband, Dalton Gomez. Around the same period, Slater also separated from his wife, Lilly Jay.
Despite their reported breakup, sources indicated that the two remain on good terms and continue to support one another.
Grande is currently focused on her music career as she performs across the United States for her ongoing “Eternal Sunshine” Tour, which kicked off in Oakland, California. The tour follows the release of her latest single, “hate that i made you love me”.
Meanwhile, neither Grande nor Slater has publicly addressed the breakup reports as of writing.
