MNL48 has announced that it will officially conclude its activities at the end of May 2026, marking the end of the Filipino idol group’s eight-year journey in the music scene.
The announcement was made through the group’s official Facebook account, where management described the decision as a difficult but necessary step due to sustainability concerns and operational challenges.
“With a grateful heart, we would like to say thank you to MNL48 members and to all MNLoves. Maraming maraming salamat for the love, support, memories, and for being part of this journey,” the group wrote in the caption accompanying the statement.
“After extensive discussions with all relevant parties, P.O.S Inc. has made the difficult decision to conclude MNL48’s activities as of the end of May 2026,” the statement read.
