JM Ibarra and Sofia “Fyang” Smith are set to spread kilig from the silver screen as they headline their first film together.
Co-producers Regal Entertainment and Project 8 officially announced “Almost Us” as the title of the upcoming movie, which will be directed by Dan Villegas.
Regal has also teased that the full cast will be revealed soon, while fans can look forward to its theatrical release on May 6, 2026.
Ibarra and Smith first captured the public’s attention on “Pinoy Big Brother (PBB): Gen 11” in 2024, where the latter emerged as the Big Winner.
They later appeared together in “My Love Will Make You Disappear” before headlining their first project as the fan-favorite pairing JMFyang in the iWantTFC series “Ghosting”.
Their momentum continued with their 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, “Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins”, which went on to become the second-highest-grossing film of the festival.
