Blockbuster stars Nadine Lustre and Alden Richards are officially teaming up for the first time in the upcoming Viu original series “Love, Siargao”.
The pairing was announced on Wednesday, Jan. 14, by Viva and Viu through their official social media pages with a post featuring photos of Lustre and Richards together, instantly surprising fans and sparking excitement online over the fresh on-screen tandem.
“ASIA’S MULTIMEDIA STAR MEETS THE PRESIDENT! 😍 Alden Richards and Nadine Lustre are teaming up for their biggest upcoming series yet. The Siargao magic gets real this 2026. Love, Siargao, coming soon only on Viu!” the post read.
This marks Nadine and Alden’s first project together, with netizens quickly dubbing the new pairing “AlDine.”
Lustre was previously part of the former love team JaDine with James Reid, while Richards dominated Philippine pop culture as the half of AlDub with Maine Mendoza.
Nadine most recently starred in the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry “Call Me Mother” alongside Vice Ganda, while Alden topbilled “Hello, Love, Again,” the highest-grossing Pinoy film of all time, with Kathryn Bernardo.
