Kapuso star Carla Abellana is now engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend.
The actress made the confirmation through GMA’s Fast Talk With Boy Abunda on Tuesday.
“We asked permission if we can actually confirm this in the program if she is indeed engaged and she said ‘sure.’ Napakagandang balita po,” said Tito Boy.
Carla sparked engagement speculation when she shared a photo of her left hand held by someone, with a big rock spotted on her ring finger.
She captioned the photo with the Bible verse: “Jeremiah 29:11: “\’For I know the plans I have for you,\’ declares the LORD, \’plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.\’”
Carla revealed in August that she’s currently dating, following earlier hints about a “mystery date” during her interview on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.
By October, she responded to rumors about a possible wedding, saying she wanted to keep those matters private. Carla was previously married to Tom Rodriguez. They married in 2021 and divorced in 2022.
