Fans are celebrating a new chapter in the life of actress and beauty queen Kisses Delavin, who is now pursuing ballet studies at Martha Graham School in New York City.
The news surfaced after photos and videos of Delavin performing at the dance school’s Spring Showcase began circulating online.
The event, held at the Martha Graham Studio Theater, featured Delavin as part of the cast in “Letter to the World”, presented under the Beginner Performance Workshop led by instructor Ghislaine van den Heuvel.
One scene from the performance, as described by the school, “captures a lively social gathering, reflecting themes of community and connection and exploring how Graham’s movement brings people together in shared joy and unity”
According to its official website, the Martha Graham School is the “the oldest professional school of dance in the United States and the only one primarily focused on the Martha Graham Technique and repertory.”
Its faculty is composed of current or former members of the Martha Graham Dance Company, many of whom trained directly under Graham.
Delavin first rose to fame as the Second Big Placer of Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 in 2016 and later competed in Miss Universe Philippines 2021, where she placed in the Top 10.
