Maymay Entrata is mourning the loss of her mother, Lorna, and shared a heartfelt farewell message she told her mom prior to her passing.

“Mamimiss kita, Inay. Mamimiss ko ang taong nagmahal at habang buhay mamahalin ako ng buo. Sa’yo ko natutunan ang magmahal ng walang kapalit, at habang buhay dala-dala ko lahat ng natutunan ko mula sa’yo,” she wrote, alongside a throwback video of them spending time together.
Maymay earlier revealed in April that her mother, who had been working in Japan, returned to the Philippines in February and had been battling cancer for the past two years.
At the time, the actress also asked for prayers for her grandmother—who raised her and is based in Cagayan de Oro—as she is undergoing dialysis.
Maymay reflected on the life lessons she learned from her mother and the emotional legacy she left behind.
The Kapamilya star ended her Instagram post with a reminder to cherish and express love to those close to you—before it becomes too late.
“Ito ang isa sa mga huli kong sinabi kay Inay bago siya pumanaw: kaya hangga’t maaari, habang kasama n’yo pa ang mahal n’yo sa buhay… yakapin n’yo sila, iparamdam n’yo kung gaano n’yo sila kamahal, at huwag n’yong sayangin ang kahit isang araw na hindi ipinapakita ’yon.
“Huwag kayong maghintay ng huli bago magsimulang magmahal nang buo,” said Maymay.
