In a recent interview with The Philippine STAR/LatestChika.com, OPM artist TJ Monterde shared his thoughts after watching a heartbreaking story of a fan on social media.
On TikTok, TJ’s fan, MJ Eder, went viral after sharing her experience in watching her favorite artist’s concert—showing one of her happiest days and saddest moment in her life.
“Yes! Nakita ko ‘yun! Si MJ! Nakakadagdag ng alam mo ‘yung passion na or parang feeling ko tama ‘yung ginagawa ko sa buhay pag nababasa ko ‘yung mga ganong mga stories,” TJ stressed.
TJ also showed interest in meeting MJ someday as he wanted to show comfort and appreciation for her support.
“Kaya I hope to meet her one day. Sana. Kasi alam ko dalawang concerts na napanood niya eh. So sana personally mag-meet tayo MJ and thank you sa pakikinig sa mga songs ko,” he said.
When asked about his recent world tour, TJ happily looked back on his concerts and endlessly thanked all his supporters through the years.
“Super happy. Overwhelmed pa rin hanggang ngayon with everything that’s happening,” he said.
Adding, “First world tour ‘yun. And I’m just really grateful kasi I’m with the best people. I’d do it all over again. Kaya kong gawin yun as long as I’m with everybody that I was with for the world tour. Sobrang saya naming lahat. Wala akong masabi kung ‘di thank you so much sa inyong lahat!”
