The highly anticipated Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition premiered on Sunday night, introducing its first batch of official housemates from both GMA-7’s Sparkle and ABS-CBN’s Star Magic.
Among the 15 housemates revealed, eight come from Sparkle, while the remaining seven are from Star Magic.
Leading the list of recognizable names are Ashley Ortega, Klarisse de Guzman, Michael Sager, and AC Bonifacio. Ashley was the first to be introduced and was tasked with fetching her fellow Kapuso housemates, including AZ Martinez, Will Ashley, Josh Ford, Charlie Fleming, Dustin Yu, and Mika Salamanca.
Meanwhile, Klarisse de Guzman led the introduction of the Star Magic housemates, which include Esnyr, Brent Manalo, River Joseph, Ralph de Leon, and Kira Ballinger.
Ivana Alawi was also introduced as a special house guest, with a secret mission to blend in as a housemate and deliver three gifts to three boarders.
The episode ended on a suspenseful note as hosts Gabbi Garcia, Alexa Ilacad, Mavy Legaspi, and Melai Cantiveros were given a mystery task which they must complete before being allowed to leave the house.
More surprises are expected in the coming days as three additional housemates have yet to be revealed.
