Mavy Legaspi is unfazed by the criticism of him joining the new season of “Pinoy Big Brother” as a host.
The actor was recently announced as the “Kapuso Royal Tropa ni Kuya” in the ABS-CBN and GMA collaboration project ”Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition Collab.”
Mavy will be hosting alongside fellow Kapuso star Gabbi Garcia and Kapamilya stars Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, Alexa Ilacad, Enchong Dee, Melai Cantiveros, Kim Chiu.
In his Instagram stories, Navy expressed gratitude over his new role and excitement on learning from the experienced PBB hosts.
“I can’t wait to meet the housemates. Can’t wait to learn from the amazing PBB hosts. I won’t let any of you down. Ready to host,” he wrote.
“Thank you for all the love & support guys. It’s honestly so overwhelming,” he added.
Mavy also addressed his early critics, saying he’ll take their feedback as constructive criticism to help him improve as a host.
“I’ll do my very best. I’ll take any constructive criticism moving forward and utilize it to become a better host.
All the extra [noise] is just unnecessary, I suggest you keep it to yourself cause it doesn’t work on me,” noted Mavy.
Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab will air on GMA starting March 9.
