Iwa Moto is looking forward to celebrating with Jodi Sta. Maria, whose marriage with former partner Pampi Lacson has been nullified after 13 long years.
“Case closed,” Jodi said in an Instagram post on Sunday as she announced the status of her annulment with Pampi, Iwa’s current partner.
“It was indeed a test of faith and trust — FAITH in God’s promises and TRUST in God’s timing,” Jodi said, recalling the “frustrating, discouraging, and even heartbreaking,” process of waiting.
The actress further noted, “Looking back it was His grace that sustained and carried me. He had a purpose for the waiting. And that was made clear to me by the Lord”.
Jodi , who shares a son with Pampi, further reflected on God’s timing : “Trust He has a plan for you and that plan is even better than the one you have for yourself”.
“And when God finally calls you out of the waiting room, don’t forget to thank Him and give Him all the glory,” she added.
The upcoming “Lavender Fields” star went on to express her gratitude to her prayer warriors and people who supported her on her journey of having her annulment granted.
Fellow celebrities have since congratulated Jodi, including Iwa whom she openly shares a blended family with.
“Let’s celebrate 🥰 love you amor!,” commented Iwa.
Jodi and Pampi were married for five years before going their separate ways. The remained on good terms despite their separation. Their son, Thirdy, also treats Iwa like his second mother.
Just last April, Iwa celebrated 12 years of being together with Pampi. The couple have a daughter named Mimi and a son named Caleb.
