A netizen has apologized for making a rude comment on Cherry Pie Picache’s photo with her unico hijo on Instagram.
The 50-year-old actress has been sharing snaps and clips from her trip to Boracay with her teenager son Jose Antonio “Nio” Tria.
“Love building memories with this man @niotria ❤️,” wrote Cherry Pie as a caption for one of the series of photos she shared online.
One netizen, however, was quick to label Cherry Pie as a “cougar” in the comments’ section of one of the actress’ shared photos.
“You ‘cougar’ you! Good for you. Enjoy life to the fullest,” wrote the netizen.
Cherry Pie calmly responded to the erroneous assumption, saying that it was her son in the photo.
“He is my son and the only man in my life,” said Cherry Pie.
With this, the netizen offered his apologies for his “misinterpretation” and shared that “ I have been your fan forever.”
Nio is Cherry Pie’s only child with ex-partner Gary Tria, and is a promising tennis player.
