Two days before her birthday, Gabbi Garcia and her family paid a visit to an animal shelter to donate food and supplies left by their beloved pet dog Sunshine that recently passed away.
Gabbi, who turned 22 years old today, shared via Instagram on Monday photos of their visit to the non-profit organization Pawssion Project in Bulacan.
“Last Sunday, my family and I went to @pawssionproject to donate the supplies that Sunshine left. I’m sure she’s smiling up there knowing that other dogs can enjoy her treats ??,” wrote Gabbi.
The Kapuso actress added that it is their way of “paying it forward because Shine filled us with so much love.”
“Seeing all the dogs in the shelter made our hearts so happy. Hands down to @pawssionproject for your dedication and pure love for the doggos ?.”
Pawssion Project, on the other hand, expressed their thanks for the donation.
“Heartfelt thanks to @gabbi who chose to celebrate her birthday and their beloved Sunshine’s life, by paying it forward through visiting our rescues and sharing their blessings to our fur friends at the shelter.”
Last November, Gabbi bid goodbye to their fur baby that had been with them for almost 14 years.
