Rita Daniela has filed a complaint for acts of lasciviousness against her former Widows’ War co-star Archie Alemania.
As reported by PEP, the singer-actress formally submitted her complaint to the Office of the Prosecutor in Bacoor City on Wednesday, October 30.
Rita’s complaint affidavit stated that the alleged harassment by Archie occurred at an intimate thanksgiving party held at Rita’s Widows’ war co-star Bea Alonzo’s home in Quezon City last month.
The 29-year-old came from an All-Out Sundays taping when she arrived at Bea’s house at midnight on September 9.
Rita claimed that Archie was visibly intoxicated when she arrived at the occasion.
The actress said the actor made her feel uncomfortable after making the slur remark: “Naku, Rita, huwag ka lumapit sa akin, napaka-F*CK*BLE mo tonight ah!.”
Rita furthered that Archie blurted another lascivious remark when she sang a duet with Royce Cabrera but tried to dismiss it, believing it was merely a result of the actor’s intoxication.
“Brad tirahin mo na yan! T*ng*n* Royce, tirahin mo na yan!,” Rita quoted the actor as saying, which prompted Bea to reprimand the actor.
Rita stated that Archie’s indecent acts resumed when he offered her a ride home which she initially refused since her Grab ride was already on its way.
Archie insisted on the ride, warning the actress that it was already late, and she could be at risk of sexual advances from the driver.
“Thinking that he was already sober and that he went back to being an elder brother who could safely take me home, I agreed to ride with him and cancelled my Grab ride,” Rita was quoted as saying.
Matters took a turn for the worse when they were approaching her home, as Archie “forcibly got hold of my head and locked it with his grip and gave me a torrid kiss on the lips with his tongue out trying to put it inside my mouth.”
“Feeling sexually violated, I pushed the Respondent (Archie) with all my might while shouting at him to stop. I struggled several times but he did not stop brushing his lips on mine against my will,” stressed Rita.
Rita furthered that the actor even whispered, “Pa-booking naman sige na,” adding that Archie even lingered in front of her house and she had to force him to leave.
The next day, Rita said she received a message from the actor apologizing for his actions as he was under the influence.
Rita reported the incident to the GMA management and requested Archie’s removal from the series for the trauma brought on by his actions.
