Vilma Santos-Recto, Aga Muhlach and Nadine Lustre are coming together in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024 official entry “Uninvited.”
A first-look teaser of the drama-thriller featuring the powerhouse cast was revealed Tuesday as it was announced as part of the official lineup in the country’s longest-running and most prestigious film event.
“Uninvited” tells the story of a woman who disguises herself as a socialite, gatecrashing a billionaire’s lavish birthday celebration to seek vengeance for her daughter who was murdered 10 years ago.
Directed by Dan Villegas and written by Dodo Dayao, “Uninvited” is produced by Project 8 and Mentorque Productions, the same company behind the box-office hit “Mallari” which bagged the Best Musical Score and Best Visual Effects Awards in the 2023 MMFF.
“Uninvited” also stars Tirso Cruz III, Mylene Dizon, Elijah Canlas, Gabby Padilla, RK Bagatsing, Lotlot De Leon, Ketchup Eusebio, Cholo Barretto, Gio Alvarez, and Ron Angeles.
