2NE1 to reunite for 15th-anniversary global tour

It’s been a long time coming but 2NE1 is here now!

Fifteen years after their debut in 2009, iconic K-pop girl group 2NE1 is reuniting under its label YG Entertainment for a global tour in celebration of its 15th anniversary.

The quartet’s talent agency released a special announcement video featuring founder Yang Hyun Suk, who revealed the company’s exciting plans for the iconic girl group and put recent rumors to rest late Sunday, July 21.

“The members of 2NE1 informed me that they’d like to hold a concert commemorating their 15th anniversary,” Yang said in the video, “So we caught up and happily discussed, making it all happen within this year.”

Fans were thrilled to see the announcement video, which concluded with a highlight reel of some of 2NE1’s biggest hits.

On its social media pages, YG Entertainment also shared a photo of the group, consisting of CL, Sandara Park, Park Bom, and Minzy, bearing the words “Welcome back.”

The highly anticipated tour will kick off in Seoul this October and will take the group to Osaka in late November and Tokyo in December, with more dates continuing through 2025.

In 2022, the four members also reunited at Coachella for leader CL’s set, performing their 2011 hit “I Am The Best.”

2NE1 officially disbanded in November 2016, two years after releasing their final album, “Crush”, in 2014, and last performed together at the 2015 Mnet Asia Music Awards (MAMA).
