Abegail Rait receives criticism over viral video of daughter with Francis M. dancing inside a club

Abegail Rait has gained the attention of netizens once again after a video of Gail Francesca, her love child with late rap icon Francis Magalona, dancing inside what appeared to be a bar went viral online.

Videos of Gail Francesca where she was captured dancing to P-pop girl group BINI’s “Salamin, Salamin” and Tyla’s TikTok hit “Water” became a hot topic online after it circulated on various social media platforms.

Abegail also appeared on stage, applauding and introducing her daughter to the crowd after her performance. She was also seen among the audience who cheered as Gail danced to a trending TikTok dance challenge.

Clips of the performance were also uploaded on Gail’s Facebook page.

Social media users expressed their concern for Abegail’s daughter, who is reportedly only a minor, for performing “provocative” dances at an “inappropriate” place.

Some also questioned why Gail was allowed to enter the establishment widely known for prohibiting access from those below legal age.

In the comment section of one of her videos, Gail seemed to address the reactions, requesting people not to be “judgemental” as they were only doing a “promotion” at the club.

Gail also responded to a netizen who questioned the place she performed.

“Ang ganda pero NASA wrong place po kayo,” the user commented.

“Nag-promote po [kami] dyan ‘di pa kase pwede sabihin ‘e,” the teen replied.

Meanwhile, Abegail shared a cryptic quote on her Facebook account amid the ongoing backlash.

The quote read, “We are like books. Most people only see our cover, the minority read only the introduction, many people believe the critics. Few will know our content.”

It can be recalled that the mother and daughter made headlines after revealing their relationship with Francis M. which Rait kept for fifteen years.

Following their claims that they shared on vlogger Boss Toyo’s YouTube channel, Abegail shared her daughter’s plans to enter the music industry which prompted them to sell Magalona’s prized possessions to fund it.
