South Korean actors Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol are confirmed to have broken up two weeks after going public with their relationship.
Local media outlet Edaily on Saturday broke the news that the couple have already called it quits.
Responding to the report, both of the K-drama stars’ agencies confirmed their split.
“It is true that Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee broke up,” the actor’s agency. C-Jes was quoted as saying in a Soompi report.
Han So Hee’s agency 9ato Entertainment also revealed: “The two both found their roles as actors to be more important. They promised to no longer emotionally exhaust with their personal life.”
9ato further addressed its responsibilities over So Hee’s recent actions to her publicized romance with the actor.
“Han So Hee gave herself and the public a difficult time due to her personal emotions. Her method of communication was incorrect. She will accept any criticism.
They added, “Above all, the agency is greatly responsible for not looking after its actor. The agency is reflecting on failing to properly play its role. Although it is very late, we will go on to right things from now on. Please continue to watch with a warm gaze.”
So Hee and Jun Yeol sparked dating rumors after they were spotted together on a vacation at a hotel in Hawaii.
Both of their agencies, however, initially denied the romance speculations on March 15.
Soo Hee then released a lengthy statement a day after to perfect the newspaper saying saying personally confirm she and Jun Yeol are dating.
The actress also aired her apologies over her social media posts which were deemed by netizens were alluding to Jun Yeol’s ex-flame, actress-idol Hyeri.
