“Everything happens for a reason.”
This was Xian Lim’s response to rekindling his romance with his ex-girlfriend Kim Chiu.
In a report by Pang-Masa, Xian was asked to comment about his recent split during the press conference for GMA-7’s new series, Love, Die, Repeat.
At the media con, the curious crowd managed to get an answer when they asked the actor if, similar to the title of the series, there’s something he’d like to repeat in real life when it comes to love.
“I think in life, everything happens for a reason. ‘Yun lang naman po ‘yun. Hindi man umulit or umulit man, everything’s gonna happen for a reason,” the actor replied briefly.
Xian was then directly asked if he could “repeat” his love for Kim.
To this, he responded, “Lahat nga po nang pangyayari sa buhay, everything happens for a reason. So, we just have to move forward kung anuman po ‘yun.”
“Of course, dapat naman talaga, okay tayo,” he replied when asked about his current status.
Xian also shared his plans for the new year, saying, “I think, plans for 2024, dapat lang na keep on working. ‘Yun naman po ang gusto natin, work on yourself and just keep on different things, doing different projects, keeping busy.”
When asked about his progress with “moving on”, the actor replied, “Kailangan lang po talaga nating maging masaya. Unahin muna natin ang sarili.”
It can be recalled that after being together for nearly 12 years, Xian and Kim confirmed their split on their respective Instagram accounts just two days before Christmas.
