A fan of Francis Magalona attempted to purchase the late rapper’s jersey that was recently sold to Pinoy Pawnstars’ Boss Toyo.
In a new episode of Pinoy Pawnstars, Marvin Favis, businessman and cryptocurrency influencer, offered to buy the blue jersey that was handed over by Francis M’s alleged ex-lover Abegail Rait.
The jersey personally worn by the late rapper was sold to Pawnstars at half-a-million pesos or P500,000.
Favis said he’s aware of Boss Toyo’s plan to put his Francis M memorabilia in a museum but still took a chance in owning the jersey at P1 million.
“Manipis ‘yun. P1 million para dito, it’s not going to happen… Malabo,” Boss Toyo told Favis in the vlog.
Favis, expressing his real intention to own the jersey, increased the offer at P2.5 million.
He also suggested an P8 million package price if the jersey would be bought together with the polo shirts that Francis M, Gloc-9, and Chito Miranda wore in the music video of their popular collaboration song Bagsakan.
Although he admitted being tempted at the huge offer, Boss Toyo remained firm in turning down Favis, saying he’s not yet ready to let go of his “holy grails.”
