Sharon Cuneta has full of endearing words for daughter Frankie “Kakie” Pangilinan who just flew back to the United States for her studies.
The celebrity mom took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt message to her eldest child with former senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, telling how badly she misses her back home.
After graduating high school in 2019, Frankie is pursuing a college degree at The New School university in New York.
“I was crying and carrying a box of tissues so she was so sweet and comforting,” Sharon said of Kakie’s younger sister Miel Pangilinan who comforted her after Kakie’s departure.
“Then Yellie brought me back to Dad’s and my room and we kissed and hugged goodnight again. Daddy came home after taking you to the airport and said it still wasn’t easy,” she shared.
Megastar then related the things she loves most about Frankie whom she fondly calls Baba.
“Babe, what I appreciate and miss most about you is how very malambing and loving you are towards Mama…I love that you would always take the time just to sit with me in my room and ask me how I am, and just us making kwento and laughing so hard. You and I are so much alike, though there’s some of Dad in you too.
The singer also expressed gratitude over how she’s blessed to have Kakie as well as her two “giant babies” Miel and Miguel.
”You’re turning 23 in Dec. and dear Lord I cannot thank Him enough for 23 years of nothing but good things and times with you. No headaches, no horror stories, no disrespect, no bad or sad anything?! I must have done something right in my lifetime.
“Thank you, my Kakie. My girl. My ‘Ate’. It’s no wonder you are able to keep the two giant ‘babies’ in line – it is because they adore and respect you. I respect you! I am so proud of the woman you have become and I will never stop praying for God to give you the best life – and the perfect husband for you because you deserve only true happiness,” wrote Sharon.
She added, “In the meantime, get that degree already and come home to Mama, to us, for good. I cannot live without you. I love you with all of my heart. Thank you for being a good daughter. Thank you for loving me.I miss you terribly already. Goodnight my baby.”
Sharon’s emotional message for Frankie came amidst speculations over the latter, Kiko, and Miel seemingly unfollowing KC Concepcion, the actress-singer’s daughter with ex-husband Gabby Concepcion.
