Vlogger Joel Mondina, also known as Pambansang Kolokoy, finally revealed the “special someone” he wanted to introduce to his subscribers, as promised in his previous vlog.
Pambansang Kolokoy previously uploaded a vlog titled “Girl Friend” which featured a mystery woman who had her face covered with sunglasses and face mask all throughout the video.
The mystery woman took care of Joel’s baby in the video and drove around for food with the latter, refusing to take off the face mask and sunglasses in the video. The two agreed to reveal her identity in the vlogger’s next upload instead.
This had netizens speculating if the woman in the vlog was Gladys Guevarra after noticing some features similar to the comedienne.
However, amid rumors linking her to Pambansang Kolokoy, Gladys earlier debunked speculations that she’s the mother of the baby in the video.
Gladys also hit back at netizens who accused her of being Pambansang Kolokoy’s alleged mistress.
“Kung totoo man na ikaw ung girl Ano feeling ng nakasira ka ng relasyon? #justasking,” wrote an Instagram user.
To which Gladys responded, “Hindi ako sure, pero malakas ang feeling ko na BOBO ka! ??? #justsaying”.
Days later, Pambansang Kolokoy then released a mukbang vlog titled “Let Me Introduce” where the mystery woman was revealed as Gladys. Some netizens are saying that the two are just pulling a prank on their followers “for the views”.
In the video, the two, who are both currently based in the United States, shared that they met in Los Angeles.
Joel and Gladys also related what they liked about each other:
“Syempre kasi komedyante ako, komedyante siya, ‘dun pa lang, we have somthing in common na. Tsaka syempre, mabait, maalaga,” said Joel.
“Pareho tayong may baba, ‘yun yata ‘yung something in common natin,” Gladys said in jest.
Last August 2022, Pambansang Kolokoy announced his split from ex-wife Marites Mondina, saying that he’s with someone new already.
Meanwhile, his recent vlog also raised questions if Gladys has already separated from her non-showbiz husband.
A quick look on the comedienne Instagram’s page shows no sight of her non-showbiz husband whom she tied the knot with in 2021.
