Sylvia Sanchez has a heartfelt message to soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Maine Mendoza, who recently got engaged to her son, actor and Quezon City First District Rep. Arjo Atayde.
The veteran actress took to social media to share heartwarming snaps of her and Maine from the latter’s proposal day with Arjo on Thursday.
“He asked Her and She said, YES!!!” Sylvia happily shared the news on her Instagram page, as she dearly “welcomed” Maine to their family.
“Finally!! Welcome to the family, Maine. Thank you for loving my son. Love you Nak,” added Sylvia alongside kiss emojis.
She also vowed to love and take care of Maine “as my own daughter”.
Meanwhile, Ria Atayde, also penned her brother Arjo a sweet message as she shared photos showing the actor-politician’s grand wedding proposal for Maine.
“You’ve always been Mister Grand Gestures @arjoatayde. But I think among all you’ve done, this has got to be my most favorite. And I think among all the many changes we welcomed in our lives this year, this has got to be the best,” wrote Ria.
She added, “So excited to officially welcome you into the family @mainedcm ? stay happy and in love! Congratulations to the two of you.”
Arjo and Maine got engaged on Thursday, July 28, 2022, exactly nine years after the latter tweeted about him in 2013.
