Pokwang, Lee O’Brian ‘separated since November 2021’

Pokwang and American partner Lee O’Brian have reportedly gone their separate ways, after almost seven years together.

This is according to a vlog released on Ogie Diaz’s Showbiz Update YouTube channel, wherein the talent manager claimed that the couple have been separated since November 2021.

“Last year pa, wala sila. ‘Yan po ang totoo. Last November 2021 pa ay wala na at hiwalay na si Pokwang at si Lee O’Brian,” revealed Ogie.

Ogie said it is right and just to address the issue and since speculations have been out in public.

“Since lumabas din na ‘yan, eh kailangan din nating linawin ang isyu na ‘yan bago pa magsanga-sanga ang isyu na ‘yan.”

Ogie added that Lee has moved out and is set to return to the United States.

“Kaya si Papang Lee ay nasa nagso-solo ng tirahan at siya’y may hanapbuhay yata, at nakatakdang umuwi si Papang sa U.S.,” said Ogie.

Ogie didn’t mention the cause of the breakup but said Pokwang and Lee supposedly split up on good terms.

“Sa totoo lang masalimuot eh, pero ang sinabi lang ni Pokwang, ‘Ang importante ay hindi kami magkagalit nung naghiwalay kami ni Papang’,” said Ogie in his vlog.

Ogie also shared that Pokwang and Lee have been on a co-parenting setup for their four-year-old daughter Malia.

“Kapag ako naman ang nagte-taping or naka-lock in tinatawagan ko si Papang para siya naman ang tumoka kay Malia,” Ogie quoted Pokwang as saying.

Pokwang confirmed her relationship with Lee in 2015, after starring as lovers in the TFC movie Edsa Woolworth. They welcomed their daughter, Malia, in 2018.

Speculations about Pokwang and Lee’s breakup came after eagle-eyed netizens noticed the latter’s absence from the comedienne’s social media posts.

Fans also noticed that the packaging of her and Lee’s home-based products have been renewed from “Pok-Lee” to Mamang Pokwang.”
