Celebrity stylist and makeup artist Fanny Serrano has passed away. He was 74.
Fanny’s daughter, Maktin Miranda, announced in a Facebook post on Wednesday morning that her father died on Tuesday night.
“It is with a heavy heart to share to everyone that my Father, Felix Mariano Fausto Jr. a.k.a. Fanny Serrano has peacefully joined our creator last night, around 9pm MNL, at the comfort of our home,” wrote Miranda.
She continued, “The whole family are comforted by the fact that a lot of you are celebrating his life and paying tributes on how he has touched people’s lives.
“Interment details to follow, as we, the family, are still fixing all the necessary documents needed.
“We appreciate everyone’s condolences. Thank you for being with us on this difficult time,” added Miranda.
To recall, Sharon Cuneta previously turned emotional in a video posted on her Instagram page as she revealed that Fanny suffered a massive stroke in March 2021.
“Prayers work wonders talaga, so can you just please, please pray for Tita Fanny? I love him so much, he’s been like a family to me for three decades. Please, please pray for him, his healing, thank you so much. Love you, guys,” said Sharon.
In May 2021, Sharon happily shared that Fanny finally got home and was recuperating. Fanny first suffered a stroke in 2016.
On the other hand, celebrities and colleagues like veteran singer Dulce offered their condolences and paid tribute to Fanny via social media posts.
