Herbert Bautista seemed to have responded to Kris Aquino’s remark urging voters not to support a certain ex-boyfriend who’s not good in keeping promises.
On Friday, the former Quezon City mayor shared a photo of presidential bet Bongbong Marcos caught whispering something to him during a campaign sortie.
“Sabi nga ni VP Inday Sara, pag binato ka ng bato, batuhin mo ng burger,” read Marcos’ speech excerpt, which referred to his running mate Sara Duterte’s statement about what their supporters should do if they are “cancelled” for backing the UniTeam tandem.
Bautista’s Facebook page post’ caption read: “Thank you po sa advice, Mr. President.”
Bautista is running for senator under the BBM-Sara slate.
Some commenters couldn’t help but relate Bautista’s post to Kris’ earlier tirades about an unnamed ex-boyfriend who’s part of the Uniteam.
“‘Di ba yung isa nasa Uniteam? Yung ex? Oh, huwag niyong iboto yun ha. Sayang ang boto, dahil hindi marunong tumupad sa mga ipinangako. Deadma please,” Kris blurted at a campaign rally of Vice President Leni Robredo’s slate in Tarlac on Wednesday.
Netizens, however, were quick to speculate that the actress-host was referring to Bautista.
Ruffa Guttierez, Bautista’s rumored girlfriend, meanwhile, seemingly alluded to Kris’ in Instagram reel on Thursday.
“Good morning everyone, be kind to everyone including your ex,” said Ruffa.
