After Kris Aquino’s ‘Don’t vote for ex’ remark, Ruffa Gutierrez posts ‘Be kind to your ex’

Is this Ruffa Gutierrez’s reaction to Kris Aquino allegedly throwing shade at ex-boyfriend Herbert Bautista?

Following Kris’ apparent swipe at former flame during a grand rally for presidential contender and Vice President Leni Robredo’s senatorial slate, Ruffa on Thursday shared an Instagram reel showing clips of herself at the beach.

“Good morning beautiful people! Be kind to everyone, including your ex. ☀️???,” Ruffa captioned the video which some netizens believed was her reaction to Kris’ “don’t vote for ex” statement.

The actress has been romantically linked to Herbert whom she declared as “#1 sa puso ko!” in a previous Instagram post, showing her support for his senatorial candidacy.

Kris, who was accompanied by her sons Josh and Bimby, graced the campaign rally of Robredo and her running-mate Senator Kiko Pangilinan in Tarlac on Wednesday.

The Queen of all Media took the stage with Angel Locsin to endorse Robredo in her family’s hometown.

Addressing the crowd, Angel thanked the estimated 50,000 supporters for showing up despite the unpredictable weather.

“Rain or shine, walang excuse lumalabas! Kasi ‘yan naman ang gusto natin sa isang tao hindi po ba? Kapag hahanap ka ng kaibigan o karelasyon, kailangan laging nandiya-diyan kapag kailangan mo, hindi kapag tuwing eleksyon lang,” said Angel.

“Gel, pinatatamaan mo yata ako diyan. Aray. Ouch,” Kris jokingly reacted to Angel’s message.

Angel however, stressed, “Ate, palagi kang lumalabas tuwing may sakuna kagaya ni VP Leni.”

Kris then pointed out that she was referring to what Angel mentioned about what one should look for in choosing for a life partner.

“‘Di ba yung isa nasa Uniteam? Yung ex? Oh, huwag niyong iboto yun ha. Sayang ang boto, dahil hindi marunong tumupad sa mga ipinangako. Deadma please,” said Kris.

Kris didn’t drop names but netizens were quick to say that she was referring to former Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista who is running for senator under presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos and running-mate Sara Duterte’s Uniteam slate.
