Ice Seguerra opens up on living with depression for 17 years

Ice Seguerra spoke candidly about living with depression for almost 17 years.

The OPM singer revealed that he has already accepted that his condition is something that he will have to live with for the rest of his life.

“Living with depression for almost 17 years now, I’ve come to accept that this will be my life from here on. With acceptance comes embracing that fact there will be delays, weeks, or months that I won’t be okay, without really understanding why,” he wrote.

He continued to share that it has been a “rollercoaster ride,” at times his bad days outnumber the good. Even with this, he remains positive that the struggle for one good day is worth it.

“If you’re reading this, please know that whatever it is you’re through… it will pass. Get professional help, take your meds, talk to family and friends,” he advised.

Ice also reminded his fans that whatever it is they are going through, life is still worth the fight.

Under the comments section, his fans expressed their gratitude for his encouraging words while they opened up about their own rough patches in life.
