Here’s why Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez have decided to sleep in separate rooms

Ogie Alcasid shared that he and wife Regine Velasquez have decided to sleep in separate rooms of their home.

Now that the veteran singer-actor has gone back to work, the couple is taking extra safety precautions to make sure that their 10-year-old son Nate is safe from COVID-19.

“We are just thinking of Nate as he is the only one not vaxxed in our family. Medyo mataas pa talaga ang mga bilang kaya nag iingat lang,” he said.

Ogie assured that he has been swabbed and tested in ABS-CBN and they are all following health protocols strictly.

“Maigi na rin po na mag ingat. Stay safe everyone!! God bless you,” he told his fans.

The couple’s son Nate has just turned 10 last November and is yet to be qualified for the vaccine.

As of writing, the Department of Health (DOH) is eyeing to start inoculation for children five to 11 years old in the first week of February.

DOH undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje said that the government will use a different formulation of Pfizer for this age group. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is the only brand with approved Emergency Use Authorization for the group.
