Ivana Alawi’s mother Fatima opened up about her bunso Mona’s near-death experience just weeks before her 17th birthday.
In Ivana’s most recent video, she shared their family’s intimate celebration of their bunso’s birthday at home in a special video.
While they all gave Mona their gifts – a Playstation 5 console, KitchenAid mixer and Dyson fan, they didn’t forget to mention their special wishes for the birthday girl.
As Ivana and Hash wished for Mona’s success, their mom Fatima turned emotional as she shared her wish for her youngest child.
“Sana good health, sana gumaling na siya talaga kasi pag nanay ka ang bigat sa dibdib na makikita pag umiiyak… Total healing from God kung pwede ko lang akuin,” she said.
She then shared that two weeks ago, Mona had a near-death experience when her blood sugar level dropped.
“Alam mo yung sobrang lamig na ng katawan niya yung kamay niya pag hinawakan niyo wala na pag tinatayo na siya wala bumabagsak na siya,” Fatima described the situation.
Mona explained that her blood sugar level decreased that day when her took too much insulin and didn’t eat enough.
The youngest Alawi revealed in the past that she is type 1 diabetic.
