Willie Revillame recently asked his supporters to watch out for his big announcement in August.
In a recent episode of Tutok To Win sa Wowowin, the television host seemed to drop hints that he might pursue a career in politics.
The Kapuso star even mentioned that he will not be “kenkoy” or a jokester in the Senate.
“Abangan niyo pa yan ito po ay isang desisyon sa buhay para po sa akin at para po sa atin lahat. Sana ho ay maintindihan niyo, hindi ako kenkoy sa senado.
“Hindi kami mag-ke-kenkoyan — tutulong, gagawa ng paraan, gagawa ng batas sa taong nagugutom,” he said.
He then defended celebrities who turned into politicians, expressing that their hearts are clean and that they have no ill intentions.
“Wag niyo naman nilalait ang mga artista, wag niyo naman kami nilalait dahil kami malinis ang puso, kami ang pag iisip walang iniisip,” Willie said.
He explained: “Nasa tao ang pag gagawa ng kawalang hiyaan. Nasa sayo kung magnanakaw ka, wala po sa isip ko yan.”
In the recent Pulse Asia survey, Willie was included in the list of preferred 2022 senatorial bets for the May 2022 elections.
