‘Kanya-kanyang trip lang yan’: Alessandra de Rossi gets candid about marriage, having kids

Alessandra de Rossi took to social media to share her sentiments on how women are perceived by society when they’re still single.

On Twitter, she lamented how women are made to feel less as people when they have not yet experienced marriage and motherhood.

“(Bad vibes) minsan when people make you feel you’re less of a woman because you’re not married or you don’t have kids (yet) or a ring on your finger,” she wrote in her post.

“Pwede bang ito yung path namin?! Sige, what is the essence of a woman?”

The 36-year-old actress clarified that while she’s happy for women who want that life, it’s different for every woman.

“If motherhood or getting married is the best thing that ever happened to you, I’m happy for you. I’m sure it is the happiest place to be. Pero okay naman ako sa Jollibee.

“Kanya kanyang trip lang yan. Naiiyak nga ako sa magandang sunset and it’s also the best thing for me,” she wrote.

She then shared that she is content with whatever God gives her.

“Whatever God gives me, I take it. Because I never asked for anything but my family’s safety. I never prayed for a man or a career,” she said.
