After 10 long years, Kapuso actor Ken Chan was able to make his mother’s wish for own car come true.
Sharing on Instagram photos of her mom inside her brand-new vehicle, Ken revealed that 10 years ago his mom jokingly asked him to buy her a red car once he would become successful in his showbiz career.
“‘Anak, kapag naging successful ka sa career mo, bigyan mo ako ng pulang kotse ah,’ at natawa siya sa sinabi niya,” wrote Ken in the caption.
Unknown to her mom, Ken, who’s best known for his roles in the TV series Destiny Rose and My Special Tatay, kept the “joke” in mind and turned it into a reality a decade after.
“Hindi niya alam na tumatak yun sa isip ko at hindi rin niya alam na tutuparin ko yung biro niya,” he said.
Fellow celebrities as well as netizens took pride in Ken’s sweet gesture and congratulated him for fulfilling his mom’s dream.
