WATCH: Ronnie Liang becomes jeepney driver for a day

“Hindi po biro yung pagiging driver.”

Ronnie Liang had a first-hand experience of what it feels to be a jeepney driver, after taking on the job for a day.

In a new episode of his online show Trip ni Oppa on his YouTube channel, the singer-actor got behind the wheel and drove a jeepney in Mandaluyong City.

While plying the route, Ronnie shared his thoughts about what jeepney drivers had to go through during long hours of driving.

‘Tapos yung iba pa nag-wa 1-2-3 pa,” said Ronnie.

He also praised the hard work and sacrifices of public utility drivers just to be able to provide for their family.

“Mga ka-tropa, ganyan talaga. Mahirap maghanap-buhay.

Ronnie, who is also a private pilot, likened driving a jeepney to flying a plane.

You really have to focus on your driving. Kasi buhay po yung nakataya dito eh. Buhay mo, ng pasahero mo at saka buhay ng mga nasa daan,” he said.

At one point in his seven-minute vlog, Ronnie serenaded his passengers with his song Ngiti.

Ronnie also tried being a service master at a gasoline station and eating street food in the previous episodes of his YouTube online show.
