Fans of the The Walking Dead were left excited after a Filipino shared her experience when she stumbled upon the set of the spinoff series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon in Paris, France.
“When you’re about to see Mona Lisa but then you see this amazing shoot! So here’s a quick spoil for Walking Dead fans! ,” uploader Erica Nayuba Osados shared on social media.
Osados said that she was just passing by the area when she saw the commotion.
“The area was closed, [weird], at ang daming military trucks kaya na-curious ako. May shooting and I was shocked na may zombie. Then I [asked] some locals. Walking Dead nga raw po ‘yun,” Osados told The Philippine STAR, noting that she isn’t up to date with the recent episodes of the famous series’ spinoff.
“Parang gusto ko nga po umiyak eh, hindi sa takot kundi sa tuwa kase from movie to reality ko na-witness grabe once in a lifetime, pero sabi ng iba kong kakilala dito, nagshoot talaga sila around Paris ngayon,” she added.
Osados said that other residents who watched the production confirmed that the series would continue filming in France. The post-apocalyptic horror drama series is slated to release its third episode on Monday.
“Di po talaga pwede lumapit may mga barriers ni-zoom in ko lang po video that time,” she noted.
Fans who were also dying to watch the actual setting of the series were quick to react to Osados’ video.
“OMG very lucky,” a netizen commented.
