A viral video of a 20-year-old student left netizens laughing as she shared her “secret” to entertain herself while washing tons of dishes in their house in Baguio City.
Apparently, Ansherina Taclan, the youngest and the only girl among her siblings, was always the one finishing household chores at home.
“On a Friday po, bale pag uwi ko po siya sa school and marami po kasing hugasin tapos naisip ko po na magvideo kaya ako habang kumakanta para di ako ma-bore. Bunso po kasi ako out of four siblings tapos only girl pa po. Kaya lagi po akong nauuutsan when it comes to household chores. Ang ginagwa ko po to lessen boredom taposs para hindi rin po mainis, ganun, kumakanta na lang din po ako,” uploader Ansherina told The Philippine STAR.
Ansherina said that singing while accomplishing different tasks at home helped her ease her mind and practice her talent.
“Kahit ano pong household chores sinasamahan ko po ng kanta. Always po akong kumakanta kapag naghuhugas. Always po nagpapamusic. Pero that time po naisipan ko po magvideo to share din po sa friends ko sana,” she recalled.
Ansherina added that she did not expect the video would go viral on social media.
“Marami rin po pa lang nakakarelate kaya nagulat din ako,” she said.
As of writing, the uploaded video on TikTok has already garnered more than one million views.
“Same! Dapat may soundtrip lalo pag nakakatamad mag hugas. Laging ang dami pang kaldero. Huhu,” a netizen commented.

The posted video paved way for Ansherina to share her talent in the online community. Now, netizens and her viewers are now asking for different song covers.
“Ang dami pong nag co-co-comment na nakakarelate daw po sila. Makikita mo po na ang mga FIlipinos talaga mahilig kumanta and mahilig sa music. Sa mga laging nauutusan kagaya ko, na incharge sa mga chores. Idaan niyo lang talaga sa kanta, di niyo namamalayan tapos na na’yung chores ninyo,” she said.
Back in high school, Ansherina even joined a band but when she entered college, she focused on her studies as a fourth year financial management student at Saint Louis University.
