South Korean actor Park Seo Joon is being romantically linked to 26-year-old American actress and illustrator Lauren Tsai.
Dating speculations hounded the K-drama superstar after some Korean media outlets reported that the two were allegedly together in Japan as spotted by Japanese fans.
Seo Joon’s agency, Awesome Ent, however, released a brief statement addressing the dating rumors on Friday.
“Park Seo Joon was carrying out overseas activities for attendance at a brand event recently, and artists and related individuals of diverse fields were invited to this event,” Awesome Ent was quoted as saying in a Soompi report.
“We ask for your understanding in not being able to provide confirmation on any aspects of his personal life beyond information about his official activities,” added Seo Joon’s agency.
Awesome Ent, as well as Seo Joon, made similar remarks last year when the actor courted dating rumors with South Korean Youtuber and singer xooos.
The actor was keen on keeping his personal matters private, refraining from confirming or denying the dating rumors.
Lauren rose to fame after her first appearance in the 2016 Japanese reality television series Terrace House: Aloha State. She made her acting debut on Marvel’s Legion TV series.
Seo Joon, on the other hand, is notable for his roles in popular K-dramas such as “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?”, “Fight For My Way”, and “Itaewon Class”.
He officially made his Hollywood debut after playing the role of Prince Yan of Aladna in Marvel Cinematic Universe’ film “The Marvels”.
