Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are starring together in the Philippine adaptation of South Korean series What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim.
ABS-CBN announced on Tuesday that Kim and Paulo will be reprising the roles as Secretary Kim and Mr. Vice-Chairman, originally portrayed by Park Min-young and Park Seo-joon, respectively.
The local adaptation set to air in 2024, is a collaboration project between ABS-CBN Entertainment and Viu Philippines, to be produced by Dreamscape Entertainment.
“Paparating na si Secretary Kim –,” ABS-CBN News announced in a social media post on Tuesday.
Viu Philippines has also posted first glimpse of Kim and Paulo’s role in the upcoming romantic comedy series.
The webtoon-based K-drama series revolves around the story of a narcissistic vice-president of his family’s company who gets romantically involved with his personal secretary.
Kim and Paulo were freshly paired up in the recently concluded Kapamliya revenge drama series “Linlang.”
