After donating tents to hospitals, Angel Locsin donates blood to Phl Red Cross

After donating isolation and sanitation tents to several hospitals in Luzon with her #UniTentWeStand campaign, Angel Locsin took time out of her day to donate blood at the Philippine Red Cross center.

She took to Instagram to inform her followers that the need for blood donations never rests, especially now that supplies are dropping.

Her caption read: “With COVID19, many of the donors postponed their scheduled blood donations. But the need for blood never rests and the supply is rapidly dropping. The Philippine Red Cross are in need of more blood donors.”

Locsin’s fellow artists commended her for her non-stop charity work amid the pandemic.

On April 9, she also participated in the Philippine Army’s repacking of Family Food Packs (FFP) at the Army Grandstand. She and her fiancé Neil Arce also donated 25,000 face masks for the frontline troops in Quarantine Assistance Station.
