‘Tama na ang kasakiman’: Karla Estrada calls for more compassion, charity in times of crisis

Karla Estrada called for more compassion and charity in the midst of the country’s fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

In an Instagram post, the TV host-actress advised her followers not to regret the money they have donated to help their fellow Filipinos.

“Huwag manghinayang sa pera na itutulong dahil kikitain mo rin yan. Pero ang buhay na pwedeng mawala dahil sa gutom ay hindi na maibabalik,” she said.

She asked that before they turn to selfish ways, it is best to think of how it would feel like if they were in the position of the frontliners, health workers and all those rendering service amid the COVID-19 crisis.

“Kaya kaibigan, tama na ang kasakiman at pagiging makasarili dahil one day babawiin lahat ng DIYOS sayo lahat ng mga blessings na yan kapag di ka marunong umunawa at mag share sa kapwa,” she shared.

“LIFE IS SO SHORT… Sa dulo ng buhay natin hindi ipagmamalaki ng mga tao kung ano mang material na bagay ang meron tayo kungdi ang kung paano ka nakitungo sa kapwa mo.”

Estrada then asked her followers to work in unity with the country’s efforts to flatten the curve.

“Tulong tulong na tayo as iisang bansa lang ang ating ginagalawan pag unawa at pagmamahal ang higit na kailangan ng bawat isa ngayon,” she ended.
