Catriona Gray expresses solidarity with working Filipinos affected by community quarantine

Catriona Gray took to Instagram to express her solidarity for Filipinos whose livelihood will be affected by the community quarantine.

On March 16, President Rodrigo Duterte placed the entire Luzon under enhanced community quarantine as a measure to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The Miss Universe 2018 asked prayers for those who still need to leave their homes to be able to provide food for their families during the quarantine period.

“I understand many of us don’t have the ability to stay home because of the need to go to work to provide for our families and put food on the table. Many of our workers are still going out everyday to help in supplying food, services and especially, those who are tirelessly on the frontlines in all our medical centers and hospitals,” she said.

The 26-year-old beauty queen asked her followers to continue praying for these Filipinos and our healthcare workers who are at the frontlines of the country’s battle with the virus.

“Wherever in the world you are take this as a time to draw close… to your loved ones, family and also to God,” she ended.
