Carol Banawa says she never expected to turn 40 as an expecting mom

As she turned another year older, Carol Banawa shared her sentiments on expecting her third child at the age of 40.

On Instagram, the veteran singer shared how age really is just a number and that what really matters is how one lives their life.

“Never imagined that I would celebrate my 40th in the middle of a pandemic and 35 weeks pregnant to our third child. Celebrating it with my family reminded me of what matters most.

“My heart is full. I am grateful for the gift of life, for my family, for good health, for the safety and good health of my husband and children,” she wrote.

She then thanked her family and everyone else who all wished her a happy birthday.

It was back in September when the singer happily announced that she is expecting her third child with her husband Ryan Crisostomo.

As of writing, she is already in her 35th week of pregnancy.

The OPM singer behind the hits Bakit Di Totohanin and Iingatan Ka made headlines last year after revealing that she is working as a COVID-19 frontliner in the US.
